V97 with push button - for outward opening

These V97 electric locks with push button were specially designed for inside and outside doors and pedestrian gates that open outwards. This is necessary when safety regulations foresee an outward-opening escape route in the event of an emergency. The characteristics and finish make them ideal for metal doors and gates, even in surroundings subject to considerable temperature ranges.

FEATURES

Installation:
horizontal.
Backset:
adjustable 50-60-70-80 mm, with a simple operation using the Allen key provided, for the version with round cylinder; 70 mm for the version set up for profile cylinders.
Double replaceable coil:
which distributes the load uniformly and ensures a long working life.
Voltage:
standard 12V AC (on request 12V DC; 24V AC or DC).
Case:
one-piece galvanized steel.
Rear cover:
galvanized steel.
Handle:
nylon, and nylon cylinder/push button ring nut.
Latch:
solid brass, self-locking with the device locked.
Ejector:
nickel-plated steel, separate from the latch to ensure the correct working of the lock even if there is vertical adjustment between the lock and the striker (caused by weather changes).
Push button:
brass.
Cylinders:
solid brass, fixed internal, loose external.
Keys:
supplied with 3 Viro profile nickel plated brass keys.
Versions available with universal profile keys to replace the most common locks already installed with no need to withdraw keys in use. (Cylinders can be re-keyed with keying kit).
Strikers:
- inox stainless steel plate, with nylon guide (only for painted versions with a galvanized base) for installation on walled door jambs;
- standard, steel, for narrow frames;
- both strikers are specifically designed for outward opening doors and gates.
Mechanism:
- if the key is turned from the inside, it is possible to:
- block or activate the button function;
- block or activate the "dogging device" function (possibility to keep the lock always open, if required);
- brass pins;
- mushroom brass counterpins, pick-resistant;
- phosphor bronze pin springs.
Supplied with:
inox stainless steel strikers, nylon guide, brass cylinder ring nut, Allen key for backset adjustment and fixing screws.
